Christmas is coming up and if you are like me, finding gifts can be difficult. You want something unique but that wont break the bank. You want to support small businesses but actually need your items to ship on time. And maybe you want something for for the majority of people who already have everything. I am hoping this list hits a few of those things. And I am mostly just excited to share these because they are things I actually used/read/loved for at least the past six months if not longer. Here we go.
Los Angelas Apparel Heavy Fleece Hoodie:
I grabbed mine second hand a few sizes bigger and have gotten so much use out of it. When trying to quit fashion I have found having a few staple pieces you can mix and match with different pants and vests has been the way to go.
4. Bayter Family Decaf:
I have always loved a halfcaf coffee but after struggling with anxiety for months I have made the jump to leave behind caffeine. My favorite local coffee shop just so happens to be the winners of the best decaf roast in all of North America. Not bad. If you or someone you is a coffee fanatic like me but needs to do without heart palpitations, give this roast a try. (If the tasting notes arent up your alley, try their Siesta blend, another favorite of mine).
3. Fellow Travel Mug:
Along with less fashion, I like to use less single use things where possible (very pnw of me, I know). My dear friend Kendra gifted me the most aesthetically pleasing travel mug I have ever seen. I ended up using it so much that I got a second one! The colors are great and the splash guard is life saving while drinking in the car.
It Wasnt Roaring, it was Weeping book by Lisa-Jo Baker:
I devoured this book on my speaking trip to Columbus, which is rare for me. Typically I can only get through audio books, but something about the way Lisa-Jo tells the stories of her and her father just drew me in. Wether you are into adventure, romance or stories with significant morals, this non-fiction read really does have something for everyone.
Van Sauce:
My parents often tell the story of finding 2 year old me signing for “more” with tears in my eyes and sweat on my brow, only to find that I had wolfed down the entire bowl of “spicy” salsa with a spoon at our local Mexican restaurant. Ever since then we cannot live life unless there are at least 10 bottles of hot sauce in the fridge. One hot sauce I have never been able to find is one that pairs well with steak and Italian food; until now. Batches are small, but maybe you will get lucky.
